LaListe reveals its 2025 ranking of the world's best restaurants, consolidating its position as an authority in international gastronomic assessment. This year, nine excellent establishments in seven countries share first place, illustrating the richness and diversity of the world's haute gastronomy.
Arnaud Donckele's La Vague d'Or, Cheval Blanc in Saint-Tropez puts him in first place, while his Parisian restaurant Plénitude, Cheval Blanc Paris, takes second place. Guy Savoy retains his place at the top of the ranking, his entry into the Académie des Beaux-Arts officially putting his cuisine on record.
On the international scene, the United States equals France in terms of the number of establishments in the Top 1000. For the first time, Northern California's Single Thread Farm and NYC Le Bernardin share first place.
In the UK, Simon Rogan's L'Enclume reaches the top of the ranking for the second time.
Germany sees Schwarzwaldstube maintain its excellence, Switzerland puts Peter Knogl at the Cheval Blanc restaurant in the Hôtel Les Trois Rois at the top for the first time, while in Asia, Lung King Heen in Hong Kong and Matsukawa in Tokyo dominate.
