‘Halo’, the new LaListe’s trophy from Maison Bernardaud
LaListe is proud to present Halo, the new trophy created by Maison Bernardaud, which will be awarded to the chefs nominated during upcoming ceremonies. This creation celebrates both victory and the art of hospitality by combining exceptional porcelain with artisanal knowledge.
Designed by Bernardaud’s creative studio, Halo draws its inspiration from the iconography of victory and celebration: a stylized halo crowns the laureate, blending references to ancient architecture, hagiographic imagery and mandalas. The decoration employs three gold finishes — matte, satin and polished — to give the piece depth and movement.

The trophy’s production highlights Limoges craftsmanship more than 160 years old. Each trophy is the result of painstaking work incorporating mastery of complex techniques such as modelling, glazing and decoration.
“Maison Bernardaud is delighted to partner with LaListe to reward and honour the world’s finest gastronomic experiences. Porcelain and haute cuisine go hand in hand to delight both the eye and the palate,” Michel Bernardaud, Chairman of the Executive Board of Bernardaud.
The first examples of the trophy were presented at ceremonies organised by LaListe, premiering in October 2024 in Seoul and Tokyo, and then in Paris at the annual LaListe Gala on 24 November 2025. Each awards list is an opportunity to bring the chef community together at prize ceremonies that also celebrate the art of hospitality.
“With this new LaListe trophy, we honour the world’s best chefs but also all the artisans at Maison Bernardaud who share the same passion for excellence and the art of hospitality. This unique creation will soon be in the hands of many culinary talents who enrich global gastronomy,” said Philippe Faure, President and Founder of LaListe.
By combining symbolic design with artisanal excellence, Halo affirms LaListe’s and Bernardaud’s commitment to celebrating gastronomy with objects that reflect a dedication to quality, tradition and aesthetics.
